With more than thirty years of experience in finance and accounting across multiple industries—most notably within the healthcare sector—Joan brings extensive expertise to her work. Her background has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of financial operations and strategic planning, allowing her to contribute effectively to organizational growth and efficiency.
Partner
Brian brings over twenty years of experience in real estate, development, and finance. He began his career in commercial banking before transitioning to public accounting, where he earned his CPA license and worked with a diverse range of business and real estate clients. His strengths lie in capital structuring, financial modeling, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, and guiding development projects from concept through execution.
Development Director
Jamie began his career in commercial real estate as a mortgage analyst with the national lender StanCorp Mortgage Investors. While advancing professionally, he earned a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development from Portland State University in 2017. Over the years, Jamie has contributed to both regional and local development firms, gaining experience across a diverse portfolio that includes urban infill projects and suburban master-planned communities.
Development Manager
With more than twenty years of experience spanning real estate, marketing, and operations, Emily brings a well-rounded perspective to her work. Most recently, she served as a Development Associate for Boise-based Elton Development, where she managed entitlements and design development for multiple projects in Idaho and Colorado, focusing primarily on senior living and multifamily communities. Earlier in her career, Emily played an integral role on Pahlisch Homes’ Land Development team, contributing to the successful creation of numerous residential subdivisions.
President
Jerry brings over twenty years of experience in land acquisition, entitlement, and horizontal development. His career includes leadership roles as a land use and development consultant. Before co-founding Macher, he served as Senior Director of Land Development at Pahlisch Homes, overseeing all acquisition and development initiatives across multiple markets. Prior to that, he was Owner and Principal Project Manager at Columbia Land Development, where he managed the delivery of large-scale master-planned communities.
